Využívání turistických informačních center jako indikátor rozvoje se zaměřením na okres Brno-venkov

Bachelor thesis is focused on the identification, description, and comparison of the tourist information centres in the district Brno-venkov. The main goal of this work is to assess the use of specific centres as a possible indicator of the development of the region. In the theoretical part there are listed the definitions and basic concepts relating to tourism and its contribution to the region. Furthermore, it is explained the role of information in tourism and there are presented the organization of this sector. The work defines the concept of a tourist information center, its function, classification, funding and legal form. Within the centeres was even given the Subsidy programme of the South Moravian region for the year 2017, which supports their activity, and furthermore, the Association of tourist information centers, as a guild of the institution and the company promoting the interests of the centres. The work will present the explored region, district Brno-venkov, in terms of natural character and the local cultural monuments. The practical part is oriented to tourist information centre in Tišnov, Židlochovice, Rosice and Pasohlávky, where is made comparison, and the subsequent evaluation of the monitored centres on the basis of their performance, the description of activities and services, the attendance, the quantity and structure of the information provided. On the base of observed data it can be said that in the context of the considered criteria the availability of the center would, for the increase in the attendance, the subsequent greater demand for the services of the center, and therefore a greater share in the development of the area, should explored centres consider particular extensions of their opening hours. The work assesses the development in the framework of cooperation with the public sector (partnerships of municipalities), which is studied from the point of view of services provided center. For increasing attendance, and therefore a greater demand for the services of the center, can become even promotion center, where they are presented e.g., the international cycling routes in the region will attract even residents of other states. The promotion center is also beneficial in the matter of the presentation of the whole region at tourism fairs. Thanks to the laid down criteria are tourist information centres judged as one of the factors of successful development of the regions.

The aim of this diploma thesis is suggesting suggestions of development of tourist products on tourist information centers in the Czech Republic. In the part Library Review are described the expert knowledge of the issues covered by diploma thesis. In the part Own work, there is summary of the most interesting research in the tourism, the results of quantitative research, the segmentation of visitors to the tourist information center, the results of qualitative research and the suggestions of development of tourist products.

Křížová, I., Quality of services of Tourist information centre in Třešť Bachelor the-sis. Brno: Mendel University, 2019. The Bachelor thesis deals with quality of services of Tourist information centre in town Třešť in area of Jihlavsko. The aim of thesis is evaluating the currently range and quality of services of this centre. The purpose of thesis is making suggestions for improvement services of this tourist information centre based on gained data. The thesis brings short literary overview related to the theme. In the practical part there are used methods like SERVQUAL, questionnaire, mystery shopping and mystery calling or complete SWOT analysis. In the evaluating the currently condition of TIC Třešť, in the most significant shortcomings were included bad directional sign to TIC, non-existing internal quality management system and no option of card payment. On the other side, the city’s promotional materials have a really good quality and their offer is wide. The approach of employee to their customers and their behaviour were evaluated very positively and very well. TIC Třešť achieves very good and stable results in long-term in Mystery shopping by CzechTourism (mystery as part of the certification by A.T.I.C. Czech Republic). It was recommended to TIC Třešť to extand the offer of own events for other turist segments, also to expand and relocate bicycle stands. TIC should also deepen its co-operation with other organization in destination management and establish co-operation with other destinations in the region. The implementation of the in-ternal quality management system will lead to a continuous improvement of this quality of services and to the quality control. Another recommendation is to implement the card payment, which applies at least to the event tickets.
Product innovations of selected tourist information center

The objective of the Bachelor thesis is to characterize, specify and design the innova-tions of the product of the selected tourist information centre. To achieve this objective, the Tourist Information Centre České Budějovice was chosen. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, the basic terms related to the work area are characterized, especially the terms contained in the title of the thesis. These terms are innovation, product and tourist information centre. The practical part is devoted to the chosen Tourist Information Centre České Budějovice and its product. The practical part is devoted to the analysis of the product of tourist information centre in České Budějovice, analysis of demand for it and proposals for innovation have been suggested.
Prague City Tourism Organization and Its Importance for Tourism in Prague

The aim of this bachelor thesis was to analyse the activities of the Prague City Tourism organization which represents an important business concerning the incoming tourism field in Prague. A particular emphasis was put on the Visitor Services department, especially on the tourist visitor centres which are administered by it. Within the analysis, statistical data on the incoming tourism in Prague from 2015 and 2016 were processed using the comparison method. Within the bachelor thesis, the tourist pass called Prague Card was also presented. In the practical part a S.W.O.T. analysis of the visitor centres was done, based on Prague City Tourism environment knowledge and the secondary data analysis. Furthermore, there was a primary research performed by the author (using mainly the questioning method) which took place in visitor centres in Prague. The figures obtained during the research were evaluated in the thesis as well. An insight into the future of Prague City Tourism was also given in the practical part. Using every piece of knowledge mentioned, several measures were suggested in order to optimize the operation of visitor centres and the Prague Card product.
Visitor management in the historical town. Case study Nymburk

Visitor management in the historical town, case study Nymburk Abstract The main aim of this bachelor thesis was to suggest innovations that led to the expansion and improvement of tourism offers, based on visitor demand (which was measured by questionnaire survey in the tourist information centre) and the evaluation of tourism potential. Three thematic maps were created - Religious monuments in Nymburk, Technical and other architecturally important buildings in Nymburk and Park Ostrov in Nymburk. Then a web application was created with objects of interest in Nymburk, which is available to visitors on the website of the Tourist information centre in Nymburk. This bachelor thesis assesses the position of the tourist information centre in the network of tourism actors in Nymburk and suggests solutions to problems that resulted especially from the questionnaire survey. The evaluation of the potential of the tourist information centre USE-IT Prague

This diploma thesis evaluates the potential of the tourist information centre USE-IT Prague and its possibilities in the tourist destination Prague. The aim is to determine, whether the services the information centre currently offers are attractive enough for the visitors and whether it is possible for the information centre to make a profit in order to cover its operating costs. The introductory chapters are devoted to definition of basic terms relating to tourism and its participants, tourist information centre, non-profit organization and tools used to evaluate potential of certain business - lean canvas and SWOT analyses. The second theoretical part pays attention to the USE-IT organization on the European level as well as Czech level. The Prague branch is described into more detail. The practical part evaluates the possibilities the information centre have. The evaluation is based on two surveys among visitors if the USE-IT information centre and other European USE-IT information centres. The evaluation contents lean canvas and SWOT analyses. The last chapter propose the particular services, which USE-IT information centre could offer its visitors in order to increase the attractiveness of the whole place.
Assessment of the Tourist Information Centre's Contribution to the Support of Tourism

The Master's Thesis focuses on the ways of tourist information centres contribution to the support of the tourism. The analysis is demonstrated on the tourist information centre of CzechTourism. The chapters contain tourist information centre's activities, the information about the Association of Tourist Information Centres in the Czech Republic, about CzechTourism, basic facts about state-funded institutions and methods of effectiveness evaluating in the non-profit sector. The practical part provides knowledge about the activities of the information centre on the Old Town Square, assesses its present situation and its contribution to the tourism support.
